Maintenance Technician
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Pay Rate: $25.71 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time Contract (12‐month duration)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Shift: 3rd Shift
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Job Overview
SGF Global is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in King of Prussia, PA. This hands-on role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, maintenance experience, troubleshooting skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must‐Haves
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand tools and shop equipment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Electrical or controls troubleshooting experience or training
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a dusty manufacturing environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechatronics education or technical training
- Industrial maintenance experience
- General mechanic experience
- Machine shop experience
- Welding and metal fabrication experience
- Electrical or electronic troubleshooting and repair experience
- Experience operating rigging or lifting equipment
Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Perform repairs to restore equipment operation
- Fabricate or repair replacement parts when necessary
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on:
- Production machinery
- Facility equipment
- Mechanical systems
- Ensure equipment remains safe and operational
- Support maintenance reliability initiatives
Machine Shop Operations
- Operate machine shop equipment for fabrication and repairs
- Utilize tools such as:
- Milling machines
- Lathes
- Drill presses
- Welding equipment
- Fabricate replacement components as needed
Inventory & Documentation
- Track and maintain maintenance parts inventory
- Organize maintenance materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all company maintenance and safety standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and organized condition
- Support a safe working environment throughout the facility
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to work around machinery and manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work in dusty industrial environments
- Ability to perform maintenance activities throughout the shift
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 40 hours per week
- 100% onsite
- Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs
