Job Description

Glacial Point Facilities Solutions is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Evening Janitorial Cleaner to service an office building near Laurel Town Center. This role is well suited for retirees, college students, or anyone seeking additional income. The cleaner will use on-site equipment and supplies and report to the client representative and owner. The primary schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Strong performers may have opportunities to receive additional shifts.

Responsibilities

Remove trash and replace liners.
Vacuum carpets and rugs.
Sweep and mop hard floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms.
Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
Dust surfaces and remove cobwebs.
Report maintenance, safety, or other facility concerns.
Ensure building is locked and secured.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated attention to detail.
Reliable transportation; the position is near Laurel Town Center.
U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to lift/carry no more than 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience.
Experience with floor care, restroom sanitation, and disinfection procedures.
Knowledge of chemical safety practices.
Strong time management and reliability.
Effective written/oral communication.
