Maintenance Supervisor Job Opportunity

Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This role oversees preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and facility operations while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. The supervisor partners with production, sanitation, engineering, and scheduling teams to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance staff in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Respond to breakdowns, emergency repairs, and facility-related issues.
  • Train and develop technicians on safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
  • Manage work schedules, assignments, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
  • Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities and improve equipment performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 2+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairport, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $87300.00 - $97700.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
