Role Summary

The IT Director will play a critical, hands-on leadership role overseeing consulting engagements and managed services delivery while supporting business growth initiatives. Based in Torrance, CA or Plano, TX this individual will bridge technical execution, project delivery, and pre-sales collaboration—ensuring solutions are scoped accurately, delivered efficiently, and transitioned seamlessly into ongoing support. This candidate must have Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of IT consulting engagements from scoping through implementation and transition to managed services
  • Partner with sales teams on pre-sales activities including solution design, scoping, and proposal development
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical consultants and project leaders, driving performance and professional growth
  • Oversee project execution to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to quality standards
  • Manage project profitability through effective resource planning, scope control, and financial oversight
  • Establish and enforce standardized delivery processes, documentation practices, and handoff procedures
  • Identify risks proactively, including scope creep, resource gaps, and technical challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, service desk, security, and endpoint teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and client experience
  • Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and convert project work into recurring managed services

Compensation & Benefits

  • $170,000-$185,000
