Job Description
What We're Looking For
- 4-7+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics
- Experience working with hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators, and flow/pressure control systems
- Ability to diagnose pressure loss, overheating, contamination, and flow-related issues
- Comfortable troubleshooting equipment independently with minimal engineering support
- Experience supporting hydraulic presses or other heavy industrial equipment preferred
The ideal candidate is a true hydraulics subject matter expert who can walk onto the production floor, assess a down piece of equipment, connect diagnostic tools, interpret schematics, quickly identify the root cause of the issue, and execute repairs independently to restore operations with minimal disruption. This person is the go-to resource for complex hydraulic troubleshooting and does not rely on engineering support to diagnose equipment failures.
