GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
We are looking for a General Maintenance Technician to support daily production and keep facility systems, equipment, and grounds operating safely and efficiently in a fabrication environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
• Maintain saws, presses, welders, plasma tables, forklifts, air compressors, and dust collection systems
• Replace belts, bearings, motors, hoses, filters, and other worn components
• Perform general building maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, painting, drywall, roofing, and HVAC filters
• Assist with machinery installation and relocation
• Weld, cut, grind, and fabricate maintenance-related items
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and schedules
• Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment
• Coordinate with contractors when specialized repairs are needed
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of maintenance or related experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to communicate clearly and complete basic documentation
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, twist, work in tight spaces, perform overhead work, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
