Job Description

About the Position

This is a developmental technical position for someone with hands-on experience in manufacturing, product inspection, equipment repair, maintenance, or product testing. You do not need to be a quality engineer, but you must be mechanically inclined, comfortable working directly with equipment, and able to document your findings accurately.

The position combines product testing and inspection with technical customer support. You may troubleshoot a customer issue in the morning, inspect or repair a returned unit later in the day, and document a recurring product concern for follow-up with our internal team.

This is not an IT or software help-desk position. It is an active, hands-on role involving water dispensing equipment, components, tools, testing areas, and warehouse activity.

What You'll Do

· Inspect and test components, returned units, and finished products against company requirements.

· Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical product issues using a logical, step-by-step approach.

· Provide technical product support to customers and dealers by phone and email.

· Repair or upgrade returned products and confirm proper operation before completion.

· Document inspection results, repairs, product failures, and corrective actions clearly and consistently.

· Track recurring defects, warranty claims, and service concerns to help identify product trends.

· Assist with root-cause investigations and recommend practical product or process improvements.

· Create and update service instructions, repair procedures, technical documents, and training materials.

· Maintain testing equipment and organized testing and repair work areas.

· Participate in product training for customers both domestic and international.

Required Qualifications

· Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in figuring out how equipment works.

· Ability to follow testing procedures, recognize inconsistencies, and document findings accurately.

· Comfort communicating technical information clearly to customers and coworkers.

· Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company systems.

· Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Helpful, but Not Required

· Previous quality assurance, quality control, RMA, or warranty experience.

· Experience using inspection tools or test equipment.

· Experience documenting defects, nonconforming products, repairs, or corrective actions.

· Experience reading product specifications, diagrams, work instructions, or service manuals.

· Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.

What Success Looks Like

· You approach problems with curiosity and work through them before escalating.

· Your inspection and repair records are complete, accurate, and easy for others to understand.

· You communicate patiently and professionally while keeping technical issues moving toward resolution.

· You notice patterns and help the company prevent the same product issue from happening again.

Why Join Natural Choice?

· Varied, hands-on work with the opportunity to build product and quality expertise.

· Direct impact on product reliability and customer satisfaction.

· Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, customer service, sales, and international operations.

· A stable, growing company where practical ideas and initiative are valued.
