Overview
CTG is seeking an experienced Epic Beaker Analyst (CP/AP).
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
We are seeking an experienced Epic Beaker Analyst to support the deployment of Beaker within our current Epic environment. This role will focus on enhancing functionality, onboarding new lab locations and service lines, and optimizing workflows within Epic Beaker.
The analyst will collaborate with laboratory leadership, pathologists, clinicians, and IT teams to ensure efficient laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Application Build & Expansion
- Design, build, and configure enhancements within Epic Beaker (AP and/or CP).
- Support onboarding of new laboratory locations, outreach programs, or service expansions.
- Configure test compendiums, result components, instruments, and workflows.
- Maintain orderable and resultable records in alignment with clinical and operational needs.
- Optimize specimen collection, labeling, and tracking workflows.
Workflow Optimization
- Evaluate current-state laboratory workflows and implement improvements.
- Support automation initiatives to improve turnaround times and reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate with clinical departments to align ordering workflows with laboratory capabilities.
- Enhance result routing, result reporting, and critical value notification processes.
Interfaces & Instrument Integration
- Partner with interface teams to support instrument integrations and HL7 interfaces.
- Troubleshoot interface errors and data discrepancies.
- Validate inbound and outbound result messaging.
- Support reference lab connectivity and outreach integrations.
Testing & Support
- Develop and execute test scripts for new build and expansion efforts.
- Participate in integrated testing cycles across applications.
- Provide go-live and post-go-live support for expansion initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex laboratory system issues.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure system configuration aligns with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support quality initiatives, including data integrity and audit readiness.
- Maintain thorough build documentation and change control records.
Background in settings that prioritize behavioral health as a core component of patient care is strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $160,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
