Job Summary

As a Security Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing successful system deployments, managing project scope, and providing excellent service to our high-profile residential, commercial, and enterprise clientele.
You will manage and lead projects involving a variety of advanced security solutions, including but not limited to systems from Motorola, Alarm.com, Kidde, Verkada, DSC, and other industry-leading platforms.

Salary Range
$80,000 per year – $100,000 per year, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of commercial and large residential security and fire system installation projects throughout the Syracuse area and surrounding regions
- Handle advanced service calls and technical escalations, performing basic IT troubleshooting, network configuration, and server replacements when required
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, field technicians, subcontractors, and central management to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
- Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, maintain quality control, and address technical challenges on-site
- Manage project schedules, material procurement, budgeting, and field resource allocation for maximum efficiency
- Ensure all installations conform to applicable codes, industry regulations, and client specifications
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Comfortable working outdoors and on active job sites – occasionally in inclement weather
- Comfortable navigating construction environments, ladder work areas, and mechanical spaces during site walks
- Must maintain a clean, professional image with external and internal customers
- Ability to travel regionally & work extended hours as required to keep projects on schedule
- Must possess and maintain a clear driver's license and safe driving record
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, SharePoint) proficiency
- Successfully clear drug screen and background check to meet industry and security licensing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, 2-year associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent military experience
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in the physical security industry (or similar field) serving as a Technician, Sales Specialist, or Project Manager
- Hands-on familiarity or design experience with platforms such as Motorola, Alarm.com, Kidde, Verkada, DMP, and DSC systems
- OSHA certification (OSHA 10/30) and/or NICET Level 1 or higher is a plus
- Familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus
- Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills
