Senior Project Engineer – Data Center Construction

I’m working with a leading general contractor expanding its data center division, with a strong pipeline of mission critical projects across the Midwest.
\n
\n
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering complex data center projects, working alongside experienced construction professionals within a growing team.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n

- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale data center construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, document control, and project schedules.
- Assist with procurement, equipment tracking, material deliveries, and supply chain coordination.
- Support the delivery and installation of critical MEP systems and equipment packages.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and help drive solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Travel to project sites across the Midwest as required.

What We're Looking For
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination, ideally within large-scale or complex construction projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction management platforms.

Preferred Experience
\n
- \n
- Data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial construction.
- Exposure to MEP coordination, critical infrastructure, or equipment procurement.
- Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of construction logistics, procurement, and supply chain processes.
