Job DescriptionBuilding & Grounds Maintenance
1st Shift | $17-$20/hr, depending on experience
We are looking for a dependable Building & Grounds Maintenance worker to assist with general upkeep, repairs, and maintenance of facilities and surrounding property. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and comfortable handling a variety of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities may include:
- Perform basic building repairs and preventative maintenance
- Repair doors, locks, fixtures, walls, and other facility components
- Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
- Painting, patching, and minor carpentry
- Maintain outdoor grounds and property
- Mowing, trimming, landscaping, and general cleanup
- Snow and ice removal when needed
- Inspect equipment and facilities for maintenance needs
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment
- Assist with other general maintenance projects as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous building, facility, apartment, industrial, or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and mechanically inclined
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay: $17-$20/hour, depending on experience
