Based in New Hartford, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-performance work environment. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician at Riverhawk Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment within our facility. You will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machines, supporting both day-to-day operations and the long-term performance of our equipment. This is a full-time opportunity on our first shift.What you'll do: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, including CNC machines, conveyors, and other mechanical systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesConduct inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtimeRepair or replace defective parts, components, and systems as neededMaintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedulesWork closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and ensure efficient production processesFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environmentContinuously monitor equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause disruptionsAssist with building and facilities maintenance as needed, including painting, plumbing, HVAC, and general cleaningWhat we need: Applicants should have the following skills and abilities.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferredProven experience in machine maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with various tools, equipment, and machineryIn-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsStrong understanding of preventive maintenance and its importance in reducing downtimeExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityWillingness to work overtime and occasionally on weekends if machines are downWhat you get: Riverhawk Company offers a competitive pay and benefit package for their employees.
