The Junior Estimator / Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting small project teams by assisting with cost estimation, project scheduling, and budget tracking. Reporting to the Senior Estimator, this primarily office-based position involves coordinating with vendors and utilizing a combination of software and manual methods to ensure accurate project planning and execution. Familiarity with various estimating software and strong data analysis skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates using specialized software such as Bluebeam and PlanSwift
• Develop and maintain project schedules, utilizing tools like Primavera and MS Project
• Track and manage budgets to ensure projects stay within financial targets
• Coordinate with vendors to secure materials and services on time
• Analyze project data to inform decision-making and improve estimation accuracy
• Support senior estimators in preparing bids and proposals

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in construction estimation
