An Elite FinTech Firm is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead to build and own a suite of internal applications supporting critical business functions.

This is a rare opportunity to combine hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, working directly with business stakeholders to build better internal tools while shaping a new team from the ground up.

Role:

- Taking ownership of multiple internal applications, driving the roadmap and delivering new features
- Building and maintaining full-stack applications, APIs and integrations
- Working directly with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions
- Modernising existing systems, tackling technical debt and improving engineering standards
- Establishing best practices, support processes and technical direction
- Remaining hands-on while mentoring engineers and building out the team

Skills:
\n
- \n
- Strong full-stack engineering experience, ideally with Python, TypeScript/React and PostgreSQL
- Experience owning applications end-to-end, from design through to production
- Experience with corporate/HR applications such as Workday would be a massive advantage
- Strong API development and systems integration skills
- Comfortable working autonomously and engaging directly with business stakeholders
- Experience in a technical leadership role or mentoring other engineers
- Knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, Ruby, Next.js or similar technologies beneficial
