Are you an experienced Property Accountant seeking an exciting new opportunity in the heart of New York City? Look no further!
I’m thrilled to share that my client, a highly regarded NFP with an extensive real estate portfolio is actively looking for a talented Property Accountant to join their team. Their portfolio consists mainly of residential/low income housing. They are in acquisition mode adding several new residential, low income housing properties to their portfolio.
The Controller is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Property Accountant who is ready to make an immediate impact—and grow within the company long term.
As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).
These clients are located in NYC/Midtown, and are in 4x days, remote 1x day.
Compensation is based on experience:
Property Accountant between $65k - $80k base
Who are you?
- Must have low income housing experience i.e. HUD, Section 8, Housing Lottery
- Experience with limited liability, tax credits, rent rolls, reserves, when to pull from reserves etc.
- They also have OMH, DOH funders this is a +
- Yardi and Financial Edge are +
- A minimum of a BA/BS in accounting from a top accredited school
- 2+ years of experience.
Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.
