Maintenance Team Lead

Job Description

Job Summary:

\n

The Maintenance Team Lead will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.

\n

1st Shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

\n

Bilingual Spanish would be a huge plus

\n

\n

Duties/ Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.

\n

• Oversee 2 maintenance technicians

\n

• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

\n

• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules, such as Installation of Extrusion & Thermoforming Equipment

\n

• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

\n

• Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

\n

• Daily and weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM)

\n

• Assist and communicate with contractors on new TI projects for piping, air compressors, water, and electrical.

\n

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

\n

• GMPs and SQF Compliance are required.

\n

Required Skills/Abilities:

\n

\n
• Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

\n

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, electrical, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting skills

\n

• Ability to read electrical schematics and print drawings

\n

• Electrical wiring experience

\n

• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.

\n

• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

\n

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

\n

• Ability to operate a forklift

\n

• Effective communication skills

\n

• Attention to detail; able to recognize, troubleshoot and repair equipment.

\n

• Bilingual a plus (Spanish)

Physical Requirements:

\n
• Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.

\n

• Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.

\n

\n
