About the Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on, safety-focused Industrial Maintenance Technician to join an aerospace metal finishing company in Stanton, California. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment, chemical-resistant piping, pumps, process tanks, and overhead crane systems in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and polypropylene piping systems, valves, and pumps.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial pumps, including AODD, centrifugal filter, and magnetic-drive pumps.
- Maintain plating and anodizing tanks, heating/cooling coils, agitation lines, and ventilation systems.
- Service rectifiers, bus bars, tank hardware, and associated mechanical components.
- Inspect and maintain overhead cranes, hoists, monorails, blowers, motors, and gearboxes.
- Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and hazardous chemical handling.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience with industrial plumbing, chemical-duty piping, pumps, and valves.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including pneumatics and basic motor controls.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, SDS, chemical compatibility, and hazardous spill response.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders or scissor lifts, and wear required chemical PPE.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electroplating, anodizing, chemical processing, or wastewater treatment.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience, including 24V controls and 480V three-phase systems.
- Experience maintaining industrial process equipment in an aerospace or manufacturing facility.
