Wage: $11.50-12.00/hour
Shift: Part-time, average of 15/week, includes weekends and holidays. Closed Sundays.

Summary: As an Explorer at Jurassic Jungle at Thanksgiving Point, you will help create a world-class experience for our guests. You will welcome, guide, and inspire curiosity as guests play, learn, and discover in our brand-new five-story interactive playground adventure! You’ll build valuable skills and experience in customer service, retail, and guest management. As you facilitate these engaging learning experiences, you’ll develop greater compassion, curiosity, and confidence in yourself. Responsibilities:
- Interact with and engage visitors of all ages to spark family learning, encourage exploration, and inspire critical thinking.
- Promote the safety and well-being of guests throughout their Jurassic Jungle experience.
- Assist with guest celebrations in one of our four themed party rooms.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by monitoring the space and assisting guests with compassion.
- Facilitate inquiry-based learning experiences with curiosity and enthusiasm.
- Work collaboratively and positively with coworkers.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Thanksgiving Point venues and activities and confidently share information with guests.
- Model curiosity and enthusiasm to create positive and memorable guest experiences.
- Welcome and include every guest with kindness and respect.
- Follow all applicable rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Represent Thanksgiving Point’s mission, values, and policies through compassion, curiosity, and confidence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a collaborative approach to the workplace and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Comfortable working indoors and in busy, crowded environments.
- Ability to remain patient and engaged in high-energy, active, and noisy settings.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and interacting with guests while enforcing safety procedures with compassion, curiosity, and confidence.
- Physical demands may include lifting up to 25 lbs., climbing stairs, bending, standing for extended periods, and manipulating small objects.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
