Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Join an early-stage AI video company as a founding full-stack product engineer. You will shape product direction and build polished, production-ready experiences that bring generative AI capabilities to users.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop full-stack product features, including user interfaces, APIs, and scalable infrastructure.
- Own product initiatives from prototype through launch, with attention to latency, usability, and visual quality.
- Work with product, sales, marketing, and company leadership to integrate generative models through APIs.
- Build polished interfaces from product designs and help deliver new product launches.
- Set engineering standards, maintain code quality, and mentor teammates through hands-on collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Five to ten years of full-stack or product engineering experience, including startup experience outside large technology companies.
- Professional experience building and shipping agentic or LLM-powered products, including at least 12 months of hands-on industry experience.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React or Next.js, Node.js, and AWS.
- Experience designing scalable systems, asynchronous workflows, distributed systems, data processing, and information retrieval.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, system design skills, and a formal degree in computer science or engineering.
- Fluent English communication skills and a portfolio of shipped products or interfaces that demonstrates product and visual craft.
- Experience with video generation, encoding, playback, or distribution, or consumer-facing generative AI products, is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $225,000 to $275,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in San Francisco, California.
