Job Description
The Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator supports the maintenance department by managing preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance documentation, and compliance records within a food manufacturing environment. This role helps ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and accurate maintenance documentation while coordinating repairs, spare parts inventory, and vendor services. The position works closely with maintenance, production, sanitation, and quality teams to support operational efficiency and food safety programs.
Pay
$20.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Duties
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment using a CMMS system
• Manage maintenance work orders by scheduling, tracking, documenting, and closing completed tasks
• Maintain detailed maintenance records including repair documentation, photos, and notes
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and maintenance activities
• Monitor spare parts inventory and order replacement parts as needed to avoid production delays
• Organize and maintain on-site parts inventory and storage systems
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and service work
• Maintain documentation required for regulatory inspections and internal audits
• Work with Quality Assurance teams to support compliance with food safety and sanitation programs
• Assist with internal audits, inspections, and compliance assessments
• Review and maintain equipment documentation and maintenance records
• Collaborate with production, sanitation, QA, and supply chain teams to ensure maintenance activities support food safety and operational standards
