Centurion Security Group is hiring licensed, professional, and reliable Temporary Seasonal Security Guards to assist with security coverage for the Broward County Supervisor of Elections during the upcoming General Election cycle. Candidates will be stationed at designated Early Voting sites, SOE Branch Offices, or polling facilities across Broward County to maintain safety, assist voters and staff, and protect event integrity.
Schedule & Dates of Coverage
Candidates must be fully available to work shifts during the entire project window:
- Coverage Period: October 19, 2026 – November 3, 2026 (including weekends)
- Shift Times: Daily coverage typically ranges between 5:30 AM – 7:30 PM depending on the specific location and election schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, professional security presence at assigned Early Voting sites and SOE locations.
- Assist with crowd control, line management, and visitor flow.
- Monitor access points and enforce safety guidelines for voting centers and staff.
- Collaborate with local election personnel, library staff, and supervisors to maintain a safe voting environment.
- De-escalate potential conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Report any security issues, incidents, or emergencies immediately to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Florida Security Officer License (Class "D" License) required.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer-facing safety roles preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned sites within Broward County.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict de-escalation skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for long shifts.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
