Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner to provide cleaning services at a federal administrative office facility located near . This position involves weekly evening cleaning services and occasional monthly and semi-annual deep cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate must be dependable, professional, able to work independently, and capable of passing a federal background check and fingerprinting process.
Job Duties
- Vacuum carpeted office areas, hallways, stairs, and entryways
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Dust desks, counters, windowsills, partitions, and office surfaces
- Mop floors and clean entrance areas
- Clean interior and exterior glass doors
- Refill restroom paper products as needed
- Perform monthly detailed cleaning tasks
- Assist with semi-annual carpet shampooing and deep cleaning services
- Secure building upon completion of work
Schedule
- Weekly evening cleaning
- Work must generally be performed between 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Additional monthly and semi-annual deep cleaning tasks required
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have reliable transportation
- Professional appearance required
- Must be dependable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience cleaning offices or government facilities
- Floor care and carpet cleaning experience
- Ability to operate standard janitorial equipment
