Job Summary

The Pub Facility Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of their assigned facility(ies), including interior and exterior spaces, equipment, and common areas. This role performs daily cleaning, preventative maintenance, exterior upkeep, and light repairs to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for team members and guests.

  • Maintain Clean, Safe, and Welcoming Pub Spaces: Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of pub interior and exterior areas to support a positive guest experience.
  • Execute Routine Facilities Care and Preventative Tasks: Perform routine cleaning, light repairs, and preventative upkeep to maintain operational readiness.
  • Support Safety and Compliance Readiness: Uphold safety, fire, and compliance standards through proper storage, sanitation, and upkeep practices.
  • Communicate Facilities Needs and Updates: Report maintenance needs, issues, and project updates to Facilities and Pub Leadership in a timely manner.
  • Support Seasonal, Event, and Facility Projects: Assist with seasonal care, events, and location‑specific projects that ensure consistent facility readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and act in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public spaces, restrooms, windows, and high‑traffic areas
  • Perform routine interior cleaning, including floors, waste removal, and deep cleaning tasks
  • Maintain safe and presentable exterior spaces with seasonal care (snow removal, leaf removal, ice control)
  • Perform light repairs and upkeep on furniture, fixtures, equipment, and building components
  • Support pest control efforts and collaborate with external partners as needed
  • Ensure equipment and tools are stored safely and in compliance with fire and safety regulations
  • Communicate with the General Manager and Facilities team regarding project needs and updates
  • Participate in weekly touch‑bases with Facilities team members to share updates and coordinate work

Required Qualifications

  • Experience performing cleaning, maintenance, or facility support work
  • Ability to use basic power tools, cleaning equipment, and hand tools safely
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures consistently

Work Environment
