Selective residential and commercial project planning and construction advisory firm (Owner’s Representative) seeks a qualified individual to support Senior Project Managers and the Principal, while also working independently on diverse projects involving a wide range of design and construction details and techniques.


As a Junior Project Manager, your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Researching material, cost, and project questions identified by Senior Project Managers.
  • Organizing and maintaining current project cost data.
  • Supporting invoice review, cost tracking, and monthly payment requests using spreadsheets and other project tools.
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Reviewing bid responses and preparing contractor bid-leveling sheets for Senior Project Manager analysis.
  • Reviewing architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings to assess completeness, track construction progress, and support review of consultant and contractor payment requests.
  • Comparing drawing and specification revisions to identify changes in project scope.
  • Supporting project team communication by preparing meeting agendas and minutes, maintaining project checklists and schedules, and independently following up on outstanding items.
  • Tracking contractor compliance with project insurance requirements.
  • Independently managing small, well-defined projects and assignments requiring strong attention to detail.



Qualified candidates must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of direct, relevant experience in the construction and/or architectural/engineering industry.
  • Direct experience with new construction and/or renovation projects, preferably including site work and MEP systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, be organized, able to quickly pivot from one task or project to another with a willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
  • A professional, team-oriented approach when working with clients, design consultants, contractors, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including formulas, sorting, formatting, and basic table functions.
  • Strong, working knowledge of Microsoft Project and key construction scheduling concepts, including critical path, lag, and float.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is a plus.


Direct industry experience is important for this role, as the successful candidate will be expected to understand construction and A/E project processes and contribute effectively from the outset.
