Maintenance Technician – Private School (Manhattan, NY)
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
A well-established private school in Manhattan is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning campus. This position is responsible for performing general building maintenance, responding to repair requests, and ensuring classrooms, offices, and common areas remain in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:

<li>Perform general maintenance and repairs including painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, and electrical work</li>
<li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests from faculty and staff</li>
<li>Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the campus</li>
<li>Set up and break down rooms for school events and activities as needed</li>
<li>Troubleshoot maintenance issues and coordinate with outside vendors when necessary</li>
<li>Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies</li>
<li>Ensure the school is clean, safe, and operational for students and staff</li>
<li>Follow all safety procedures and school policies</li>
</ul>
 
Salary: $50,000 to $58,000
