Perform a variety of landscape installation and maintenance tasks relating to the upkeep and operations of the college grounds. Duties may include but are not limited to: edging sidewalks, string trimming, blowing, picking up sticks and cones, leaf removal (using rakes, leaf vacuums, push leaf vacuums), debris pickup, planting, trenching, raking, litter control and so forth. Knowledge or ability to gain knowledge of hand tools and grounds equipment using safe work practices. Ability to perform tasks during inclement weather; communicate; kneel, crouch, reach, or walk with equipment for long periods of time on a day-to-day basis. Must adhere to PPE standards. Assist Grounds Technicians with their daily duties as assigned.
