Spirits Specialist - South Bay, CA

Job Description

Skurnik Wines & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and organized South Bay-based Spirits Specialist to join our team in California. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for spirits and hospitality. The Spirits Specialist will be responsible for supporting sales efforts and maximizing the distribution and visibility of Skurnik Spirits brands across both on-premise and off-premise accounts throughout South San Francisco to San Jose and including Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel.\n

\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n
\nSupport sales representatives in promoting and selling spirits brands\n
\nDeliver spirits samples to accounts\n
\nExecute in-store tastings\n
\nSchedule and lead consumer events in partnership with on and off premise accounts\n
\nParticipate in supplier and market work with brand and sales managers\n
\nAssist with research and development for high-touch cocktail programs\n
\nProvide portfolio education to sales representatives and customers\n
\nConduct staff trainings at account locations\n
\nManage account relationships through regular in-person visits and virtual communication\n
\nAct as a conduit for the spirits portfolio by communicating messaging, updates and priorities effectively with sales representatives\n
\nParticipate in monthly company sales meetings and spirits events\n
\nComplete sales initiatives, goals, and incentive programs\n
\nTrack and report on sales activity; analyze data to support decision-making\n
\n
\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n
\nMinimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:\n
\nAlcohol beverage sales\n
\nHospitality or bar programs\n
\nCulinary or tasting room environments\n
\nSupplier or wholesale distribution\n
\nStrong cocktail knowledge and a genuine passion for hospitality\n
\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\n
\nHighly organized with strong problem-solving abilities\n
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)\n
\nMust be based in Sonoma, Napa or Sacramento\n
\n
\nCOMPENSATION:\n
\nBased on experience: $75K-85K\n
\n
