Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and modification of production, chemical processing, gas manifold, and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical or fluid/gas systems environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair chemical processing equipment, gas manifolds, fluid systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Install, modify, rebuild, calibrate, and maintain mechanical and process equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance and monitoring programs according to established procedures.
• Perform leak checks and follow P&IDs, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Assist with engineering improvement and construction projects, including scope and schedule development.
• Recommend spare parts inventory levels and prepare purchase requisitions for required parts.
• Update maintenance procedures and recommend preventive maintenance intervals based on repair history.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and organize technical information using computer systems.
• Support maintenance department safety, organization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in emergency response activities and required training.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a chemical, manufacturing, or fluid/gas systems environment.
• Knowledge of gas and pressure-system components and their operation.
• Ability to read and work from P&IDs and engineering drawings.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and electronic skills.
• General industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Tube bending experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to medically pass required respiratory and physical testing.
• Must be able to wear a full-face respirator and other required respiratory protection, including supplied-air respirators/SCBA.
• Must be clean-shaven when required for respirator use.
• Ability to work safely in an emergency response environment.
• Must successfully complete all required training.
