Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Application Developer for a 12-month contract with the option to renew. The developer will support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring that project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
The ideal candidate will have strong application development experience, the ability to build secure and scalable applications, and expertise in system integration. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and external teams to understand requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver effective software solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality, maintainable, reusable, and secure application code.

Support the planning, execution, and completion of IT-related projects.

Collaborate with external teams to resolve complex system integration challenges.

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, identify pain points, and design effective solutions.

Review and contribute to technical designs and application architecture.

Develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-based applications.

Implement new features and demonstrate developed functionality to stakeholders.

Monitor application performance and optimize systems for efficiency.

Manage application parameters to improve front-end response times.

Automate and improve development workflows and processes.

Evaluate the feasibility of proposed software applications and system modifications.

Identify technical requirements, system limitations, and potential implementation challenges.

Follow Agile methodologies and participate in development activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Apply source control and development best practices.
Required Qualifications

Experience in at least two of the following areas:
-
Web and API development using the .NET technology stack.

UI technologies such as React, Angular, and Node.js.

Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

Strong knowledge of web services and integration technologies, including XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, and caching.

Experience with Azure DevOps workflows.

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Experience with SQL Server services, T-SQL, and stored procedures.

Skills in database optimization and performance tuning.

Experience with Git and source control management.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to learn and adapt to new programming languages, tools, and technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in application development.
-
An equivalent combination of education and experience, with one year of application development experience substituting for each year of required education.
