Job DescriptionSmith Personnel is currently sourcing for a skilled industrial maintenance mechanic for manufacturing facility in North Fort Worth.
Maintenance Technician: Payrate $25/hr. (dayshift, possible weekend work) 7:30-4:30 M-F for training but will eventually be put on a schedule to cover weekends alternating with other maintenance personnel. Responsibilities:1. Recognize and respond to malfunctioning equipment.2. Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.3. Perform repairs and maintenance of industrial equipment and sub-assemblies including:1. Furnaces2. Presses3. Pumps4. Motors5. Fans6. PLCs, VFD, and controllers.7. Hydraulic Systems8. Air Compressors9. Cooling Towers4. Execute preventative maintenance program.5. Document maintenance activity within CMMS.Job Requirements:1. Minimum 1 year industrial maintenance experience.2. High Diploma required w/ 30 hours toward technical college degree preferred.3. Must be able to provide own tools to perform job.4. Perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and masonry repairs as needed.5. Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals.6. Ability to read and comprehend equipment drawings and schematics.7. Must be able to work in confined spaces.8. Knowledge of lock out/tag out.9. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.10. Good communication skills11. Good problem solving and analytical skills.12. Be able to lift 50 lbs.
