Job Description

Inventory Prep Specialist

ABOUT US

We're a growing e-commerce distribution company based in Portland, OR. We source brand-name products (footwear, outdoor gear, hardware and more) and prepare them for sale on Amazon and other major marketplaces. We're a small team, and every order that leaves our warehouse represents all of us, so we take real pride in accuracy and care.

THE ROLE

As an Inventory Prep Specialist, you'll help turn incoming product into marketplace-ready inventory. Much of your day will be spent working independently, with clear written procedures and hands-on training to guide you. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and handles each item with care.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Receive and unpack incoming shipments, check contents against orders, and note any discrepancies

• Prep items to marketplace requirements: barcode labeling, poly-bagging, bundling and protective packaging

• Pack outbound cartons to our specifications

• Keep inventory organized, correctly located and easy to find

• Follow our written procedures and keep a clean, orderly workspace

• Keep an eye out for issues like damaged goods or mislabeled items, and fix them or let us know. Questions are always welcome.

• Work toward daily accuracy and productivity goals

WHAT WE VALUE MOST

• Care: you handle every item as if it were going to your own customer

• Reliability: we can count on you to be on time for your scheduled shifts

• Work ethic: you stay focused and productive, including when working on your own

• Consistency: you're comfortable learning a process and following it the same way each time

• Communication: you ask questions and speak up when something seems off

No warehouse experience required. If you bring good character and a strong work ethic, we'll teach you the rest.

YOU'LL DO WELL HERE IF...

• You take pride in doing a job well

• You enjoy working independently and staying busy

• You'd rather ask a question than guess

• You want a role where you're trusted with real responsibility

WHAT WE OFFER

• Hands-on training on our procedures and tools

• Clear expectations and written procedures, so you always know what a good job looks like

• An independent role where your work is trusted and appreciated

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing and walking for most of the shift

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

• Repetitive hand work, bending and reaching

• Basic computer and barcode scanner use

DETAILS

• Pay: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience/performance

• Schedule: [M-F : 9am-5pm]

• Location: Portland, OR (on-site)

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
