Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Solution Specialist to support manufacturing-focused ERP initiatives in Brooklyn, New York. This is a Contract position for a consultant who can align SAP MM capabilities with purchasing, inventory, and supplier processes while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise in SAP MM within modern SAP environments and can contribute effectively in fast-moving project settings.
Responsibilities:
• Lead configuration, support, and optimization activities within SAP Materials Management to improve procurement and inventory operations.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate supply chain needs into practical SAP MM solutions for a manufacturing environment.
• Guide implementation efforts across SAP MM workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet project timelines and business objectives.
• Analyze purchasing, material planning, stock management, and vendor-related processes to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support solution design, testing, issue resolution, and user adoption activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work within Agile delivery frameworks and SAP Activate-based approaches to help drive efficient execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment, providing clear updates and recommendations.
• Contribute expertise related to SAP Fiori applications, master data considerations, and reporting or embedded analytics where applicable.• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience delivering SAP MM implementation and support services.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Practical knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery principles.
• Strong understanding of procurement workflows, inventory control, materials planning, and supplier management.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and collaborate successfully with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.
• SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA certification is strongly preferred.
