Role Description The IT Coordinator is a part-time, on-site role based in Mishawaka, IN, responsible for overseeing the school’s information technology infrastructure and support services. Daily tasks include providing technical support to staff and students, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and managing user accounts and access permissions. The IT Coordinator will maintain and monitor network systems, servers, and classroom technology to ensure reliable performance and data security. The role also involves coordinating technology upgrades, documenting IT processes, and collaborating with school leadership to align technology resources with educational and administrative needs. The IT Coordinator will contribute to a safe, efficient, and Christ-centered learning environment by ensuring that technology tools are accessible and functional.

Qualifications

• Strong Information Technology and Network Administration skills, including experience with networks, servers, and classroom technology systems.

• Demonstrated Technical Support and Troubleshooting abilities to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a school setting.

• Effective Analytical Skills for diagnosing IT problems, evaluating system performance, and recommending improvements.

\n

• Proficiency with operating systems, productivity suites, and common educational technology platforms.

\n

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support staff and students of varied technical abilities.

\n

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and procedures.

\n

• Relevant certification or coursework in IT, computer science, or a related field; prior experience in a school or nonprofit environment is beneficial.
