Job Description

Overview

We're looking for a technically strong Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations while driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a Maintenance Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or Project Engineer who has demonstrated leadership and is ready to step into a management position.

You'll be responsible for improving equipment reliability, leading maintenance initiatives, developing technicians, and implementing systems that improve uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily maintenance operations for a team of maintenance technicians
  • Improve equipment uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Develop and enhance PM programs using CMMS and maintenance best practices
  • Analyze downtime, OEE, and maintenance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and corrective actions
  • Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and work prioritization
  • Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvements
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and operations to minimize downtime
  • Improve spare parts inventory and storeroom organization
  • Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while establishing accountability and performance expectations
  • Drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, reliability, industrial engineering, or project engineering
  • Previous leadership experience, whether formal or informal, is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment
  • Experience implementing or improving Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning
  • Ability to use maintenance data and KPIs to improve equipment performance
  • Experience performing Root Cause Analysis and driving corrective actions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
