Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong attention to detail to work on a high profile $1 billion project in the Jacksonville, FL area. The Project Engineer is responsible for providing support to the MEP and Architectural teams on this mega-project to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality and project management standards.
- Prepare, submit and track submittals and RFIs.
- Assist with reporting, cost tracking, and issue resolution.
- Payment application review, validation and administration for a cost-plus agreement with a subcontractor.
- Work with various project team members on various project-related tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- 2+ years prior construction experience working on large scale, complex building projects.
- MEP and/or Architectural experience is required.
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
- Job knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
Salary: $75,000-$110,000
