Adecco Staffing is teaming wiht a local electronics manufacturer in North Attleboro, MA to bring on a Facilities Maintenance Associate. This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity on 1st shift with competitive pay and opportunities for overtime.

Facilities Maintenance Associate
Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the company’s buildings, grounds, equipment, and general work areas in a safe, clean, functional, and professional condition. This is a hands-on position performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, groundskeeping, snow and ice removal, and other facility-related duties.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, self-motivated, and comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operation of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building maintenance, clean up and general repairs.

  • Troubleshoot and complete minor mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and hardware repairs within the scope of training and qualifications.

  • Regularly inspect buildings and grounds and identify items requiring repair or attention.

  • Maintain exterior areas, walkways, entrances, parking areas, and grounds.

  • Perform snow and ice removal, including shoveling, snow blowing, authorized plowing, and applying ice-melting materials.

  • Respond to weather-related facility needs to maintain safe access to the building.

  • Move furniture, materials, supplies, equipment, and other items as needed.

  • Assist with setting up and rearranging offices, production areas, storage areas, and other company spaces.

  • Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, and storage areas in good working condition.

  • Assist outside contractors and service technicians and provide authorized access to facility equipment.

  • Identify unsafe conditions and promptly report or correct them as appropriate.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Assist with emergency facility issues as needed.

  • Perform other maintenance, groundskeeping, facility, and general support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical work, or a related field preferred.

  • General knowledge of building maintenance and basic repair techniques.

  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, snow-removal equipment, and other maintenance equipment.

  • Ability to recognize situations requiring a licensed or specialized contractor and avoid performing unauthorized repairs.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a hands-on environment.

  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
