About the Opportunity
\n
We are seeking a Senior Real Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and tenant relationships for a premier retail destination in Lexington, Kentucky.
\n
This role is ideal for an experienced retail property manager, senior property manager, mall manager, or commercial real estate manager who has direct responsibility for the operational and financial performance of a retail asset.
\n
The successful candidate will serve as the primary property-level leader, partnering with tenants, accounting, leasing, facilities, and other internal teams to maintain strong property performance and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-profile retail property.
- Manage and monitor property-level financial performance, including NOI, budgets, and variance reporting.
- Develop and manage annual property budgets and monitor actual performance against budget.
- Oversee tenant relationships and resolve operational or property-related issues.
- Monitor open accounts receivable balances and communicate with tenants regarding outstanding items.
- Partner with accounting on CAM reconciliations, tenant reimbursements, and additional expense recoveries.
- Oversee facilities, maintenance, and property operations teams.
- Coordinate closely with leasing and other cross-functional partners.
- Lead property team meetings and ensure alignment around operational priorities.
- Develop strategic plans to support the performance of the assigned asset.
- Identify opportunities to improve property performance, tenant satisfaction, and overall operations.
- Provide leadership, direction, training, and performance management to property-level employees as needed.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 3+ years of direct retail property management experience; 3–5 years preferred.
- Commercial real estate experience with a focus on retail properties.
- Experience managing retail centers, shopping centers, lifestyle centers, malls, or similar assets.
- Demonstrated responsibility for property financial performance and NOI.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with CAM and tenant reimbursements.
- Experience managing tenant relationships and resolving tenant issues.
- Experience overseeing accounts receivable and/or rent collection processes.
- Experience overseeing facilities and day-to-day property operations.
- Strong communication, client-service, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Lexington, KY.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
