Part-Time Day Porter – Scottsdale Commercial Center
We are looking for a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Part-Time Day Porter to help maintain a clean and welcoming commercial shopping center in Scottsdale.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income with a straightforward, independent part-time position. The position currently services one commercial center, and the work primarily consists of light outdoor cleanup and general property upkeep.
Because this is a per-visit position, we would prefer someone who lives in Scottsdale or nearby. The closer you are to the property, the more convenient and worthwhile the position will be for both you and our company.
Responsibilities
- Empty all exterior trash receptacles throughout the property
- Replace trash liners/bags as needed
- Wipe down trash can lids and exterior surfaces with a wet rag
- Pick up trash, litter, and debris throughout the parking lot
- Remove litter and debris from landscaped areas and planters
- Walk the full perimeter of the property and collect any trash or debris
- Check sidewalks, storefront areas, common areas, and other exterior areas for litter
- Help maintain a clean, well-kept, and professional appearance throughout the center
- Report any damage, unusual conditions, or areas that may require additional attention
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and able to consistently complete scheduled service visits
- Professional, responsible, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Someone who takes pride in doing a thorough job and notices the small details
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to walk the property, bend, reach, and lift trash bags as needed
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Scottsdale or nearby residents preferred
Pay & Position Details
- Starting pay: $35 per completed service visit
- Paid per service visit rather than hourly
- Opportunity for increased per-visit pay based on experience, reliability, and performance
- Part-time position
