Job Description A mission-driven nonprofit in Warwick is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of its affordable housing portfolio. This role focuses on resident relations, leasing, recertifications, and rent collection while helping ensure residents receive responsive service and housing operations run smoothly.

Compensation & Highlights:
- Location: Warwick, RI
- $45,000-$60,000 per year, based on experience
- Temp-to-permanent
Responsibilities of the Affordable Housing Assistant Property Manager:
- Assist with leasing, property tours, and processing applications.
- Keep documentation accurate and stay in clear communication with tenants and prospects.
- Help prepare tenant initial and interim recertifications under LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD guidelines.
- Be a go-to contact for residents, answering questions and helping resolve community concerns.
- Support rent collections, post payments, and help manage minor account delinquencies.
Qualifications of the Affordable Housing Assistant Property Manager:
- 1-2+ years of property management or strong residential administrative experience.
- An affordable housing background is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, or Fair Housing regulations preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, customer-first approach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or MRI highly preferred.
