Now Hiring: Quality Technician
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and precision? We're looking for a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with quality inspection experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring products meet the highest industry standards.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Location: Manchester CT
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on materials and finished products
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, and processes to ensure specifications are met
- Verify products meet customer requirements before shipment
- Maintain accurate quality records in compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and production documentation
- Ensure inspection and test equipment is properly calibrated
- Identify opportunities to improve quality processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications:
- Associate degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of quality inspection or quality technician experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Experience with AS9100 and/or Nadcap is a plus
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification is a plus
