Job DescriptionPress Operator – $16.50/hourExpress Employment Professionals of Ottawa is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find great people. We are currently seeking Press Operators for a warehouse to join a growing team in Spring Valley, IL.Benefits (Express offers benefits from the first day of employment!):

Responsibilities:Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:• Operation of a production stamping press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval.
• Assists in the loading of steel coils.
• Removes scrap and applies lubricants as needed.
• Conducts the visual and dimensional checks of parts for defects.
• Maintains a constant watch of die and stock to prevent mis-hits and jamming of parts.
• Moves both full and empty bins/racks/containers to and from presses as needed.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of press operating experience
