Villa Property Management is seeking an experienced painter/maintenance technician for multiple apartment communities.
The Roving Painter/Maintenance Tec will serve a critical role by completing apartment turnover painting and wall repairs along with common area painting projects. The Roving Maintenance Painter will also be working closely with the entire maintenance team on special projects and routine building maintenance.
Villa's apartment communities and office buildings are locally owned and managed. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with amazing potential.
We are looking for an experienced painter with basic drywall and other maintenance skills.
Must have good organization and time management skills.
- 2 years previous apartment painting experience with an emphasis on turnovers and painting.
- High school diploma or GED
-Attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Must own or have access to a properly insured vehicle for use in business transportation needs; maintain a valid driver's license and insurance.
-Time management skills.
-Ability to follow directions working alone or with a team.
-Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance and drywall repair.
-Available for after hours emergency calls on a rotating basis.
-Ability to lift 60lbs.
-Knowledge of an adherence to local and federal landlord, tenant and fair housing laws.
-Work efficiently
Job Responsibilities:
-Assist in turning vacant units by doing drywall repairs, priming and painting in a prompt and professional manner. Common area interior and exterior painting projects.
-Electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall and basic carpentry.
-Performing all duties assigned by property manager or supervisor.

Compensation:
Hourly rate of $28-$30 DOE; 40 hours per week.
Phone and mileage reimbursement.
