Job Overview:
Site Manager is responsible for optimizing profitability and productivity at the site while ensuring Customer Satisfaction, compliance with company and government regulations and continuous improvement of operations while motivating, coaching, and training the assigned staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
§ Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
§ Monitors staff performance at the local branch by measuring performance outcomes against performance objectives and standards
§ Ensure work performance is planned and coordinated according to vessel schedules, quality standards and budget objectives.
§ Maintains the site in a safe and environmentally sound condition according to DOT, EPA, and HACCP or other regulatory requirements.
§ Act as Wrist’s key point of contact with Customers for all operational issues.
§ Understand and manage key cost drivers, to include overtime, returns and x-dock.
§ Conduct Safety Briefings on a regular basis and ensure Safety is always a top priority.
§ Manage and supervise assigned personnel and initiate corrective action for unsatisfactory performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
§ Provide annual performance evaluations (in writing) for all assigned personnel.
§ Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
§ Recruit, train, develop and motivate direct reports to ensure the delivery of high performance, acting as an enthusiastic, positive and motivated role model for the team.
§ Monitor morale of personnel and endeavor to maintain a high level and "can do" attitude.
§ Locate areas of improvement and implement corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
§ Maintain a problem-solving attitude with a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
§ Maintain assigned equipment and vehicles in good working conditions ensuring preventative maintenance is performed timely.
§ Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
§ Consistently displays integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and ethics.
§ Performs assigned job duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and standard practices.
