Job Description Bring your core JavaScript and SQL skills to a high-visibility digital modernization project in Oklahoma City! Peak Performers is partnering with a prominent Oklahoma state agency to recruit an Application Developer for a 9-month contract. If you are an entry-to-intermediate web developer looking to build practical system-migration experience by converting paper/PDF inspection workflows into modern interactive web forms, this role offers an ideal step forward in your IT career. The Team You Will be Joining You will be joining an active IT unit within a state government agency dedicated to supporting field operations and public health/safety across Oklahoma. This team is actively replacing and decommissioning legacy inspection systems by building a brand-new in-house inspections platform. Operating in a supportive, collaborative environment, the team collects critical field data across Oklahoma to streamline public services. Major Duties
- Convert approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into clean, responsive, interactive HTML/CSS forms for field inspectors.
- Write custom JavaScript to handle form logic, user inputs, and save collected data directly into a SQL database.
- Utilize Jinja templates and document compiling tools to dynamically convert user inputs back into standardized PDF documents.
- Assist senior agency developers with general JavaScript maintenance, bug fixes, and feature enhancements to keep the overall application migration schedule on track.
- Perform basic SQL querying and data mapping tasks to support backend data storage and retrieval.
What Are We Looking For?
- Core Technical Skills: Proven experience (beginner to intermediate level) working with JavaScript, SQL (T-SQL or general ANSI SQL), HTML, and CSS.
- Preferred / Bonus Skills (Can learn on the job): Exposure to Python, Jinja templating, Git/GitHub, or Docker containers.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong attention to detail necessary for accurately converting legacy PDF form logic into modern web interfaces.
- Work Schedule Availability: Ability to work full-time on-site in Oklahoma City (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, flex schedule options available).

- Rate: $32.00 – $38.00/hour (W-2) depending on experience
- Contract: 9-Month Contract
- Worksite Location: Oklahoma City, OK
- Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: 100% Onsite in OKC (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with flex options)
