Requirements
- Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Perform routine equipment repairs and adjustments to help minimize production downtime.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential maintenance concerns.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely.
- Complete assigned work orders and document maintenance activities accurately.
- Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance projects as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with production and maintenance team members to address equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures preferred.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read basic equipment manuals, diagrams, or technical documentation.
- Willingness to learn and develop additional maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work a full-time second-shift schedule.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the shift.
