  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure craftspeople are trained and qualified for assigned work.
  • Enforce environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Champion proactive strategies—preventive and predictive—over reactive fixes.
  • Recognize strong performance and address issues with fair, timely discipline.
  • Own the CMMS: monitor work orders, backlogs, PM compliance, and data accuracy.
  • Build and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs that cut unplanned downtime.
  • Source parts and services; work with Procurement and vendors to secure competitive bids for equipment.
  • Qualify and oversee outside contractors; verify shop certifications and workmanship standards.
  • Develop standards for major overhauls and outages to ensure consistent, high-quality turnarounds.
  • Manage the maintenance team’s budget with a keen eye on cost, reliability, and safety.

What you’ll bring

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Hands-on background with assembly line machinery, including PLC programming.

  • Expert troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational excellence; mechanical aptitude; ability to read blueprints.
