Job description:

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator position will provide daily administration and maintenance of all Frazier IT Systems, playing a major role in the implementation of new systems, upgrades and continuous system improvement. The position is full time, on premises with some out-of-hours incident response and occasional travel to other Frazier sites within USA, Mexico and Canada.

Job Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Daily monitoring and hands-on administration of all IT servers, including our on-premises virtualized environment and cloud-based services, in addition to systems located in 7 North American manufacturing facilities and a few dozen satellite offices
  • \n

  • Monitor, administer, and manage company email services and email security systems
  • \n

  • Support key manufacturing systems, including installation, configuration, operations, maintenance, certificates, monitoring, documenting and troubleshooting
  • \n

  • Create new, and review/update existing documentation, including SOP, System Information documents and user guides
  • \n

  • Provide internal status reports, provide advice and recommendations for improvements, and contribute to developing efficient processes and procedures
  • \n

  • Provide technical collaboration, guidance and support for Tier 1 / Tier 2 support staff. The position is a point of escalation for the Helpdesk team
  • \n

  • As a member of the wider IT team, will be required to provide all levels of user support, assisting client-side support teams as needed to ensure a quality IT service is received by all
  • \n

  • Working with the IT operations team, act as primary support for system alerts, assessing urgency and responding as appropriate in or out of usual office hours – particularly for any suspected security incidents
  • \n

  • Monitor and maintain all aspects of IT operations security and access control
  • \n

  • Assist and augment the IT Manager and IT Director as necessary to provide a modern and quality driven service to all company employees and associates
  • \n

  • Continuous personal growth and self-guided training, staying current with latest IT news, security concerns and emerging technologies (such as AI)
  • \n

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the IT Director
  • \n

Technical Experience Required:

\n

    \n
  • At least 10 years of hands-on IT experience with increasing responsibilities within enterprise IT environments
  • \n

  • Microsoft cloud: O365 applications, Sharepoint, Teams, Entra ID etc.
  • \n

  • VMWare Virtualization, other virtualization platforms are a plus
  • \n

  • Windows server and related infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, AD, GP)
  • \n

\n

  • Strong documentation, communication and collaboration skills
  • \n

  • A professional and intuitive demeanor
  • \n

  • Experience of manufacturing environments a plus
  • \n

  • Relevant CompTIA, ISC2, and/or Microsoft certificates are a plus
  • \n

  • Pro-active work ethic, healthy curiosity and interest in personal growth
  • \n

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and traverse stairways, uneven ground when installing hardware, cabling and racks
  • \n

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to move racks and computer hardware
  • \n

  • Valid driver’s license
  • \n

  • Occasional travel required to company facilities located throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • \n

\n

Ability to work flexible hours as needed, and available for emergency 24x7 support when necessary
