As a Technology Engineer you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ or Birmingham AL.

We are seeking a Technology Engineer within the Site Reliability Center (SRC) to support mission-critical applications in a 24x7 enterprise environment. This role focuses on production stability, incident remediation, and continuous reliability improvement across distributed platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Management & Remediation
•\tLead and participate in P1/P2 incident response and major incident bridges
•\tPerform triage, troubleshooting, and service restoration across technology layers
•\tExecute remediation actions, including fixes and workarounds
•\tCommunicate status and impact to stakeholders in real time
•\tDocument incident timelines and support post-incident reviews
Problem Management
•\tConduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and high-impact incidents
•\tCreate and manage problem records to resolution
•\tDrive permanent remediation and prevention strategies
•\tIdentify trends and reduce repeat incidents
•\tDevelop knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides
Change Management
•\tSupport and execute production changes and releases
•\tValidate change readiness including testing and rollback plans
•\tParticipate in CAB and change reviews
•\tPerform post-implementation reviews
•\tEnsure adherence to enterprise change standards
Monitoring & Alerting
•\tDevelop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerting strategies
•\tPerform health checks and event monitoring
•\tTune alerts to reduce noise and improve signal quality
•\tLeverage enterprise tools for observability and diagnostics
•\tEnable proactive issue detection
Troubleshooting & Production Support
•\tTroubleshoot across application, infrastructure, database, and network layers
•\tAnalyze logs and system metrics to determine root cause
•\tSupport batch/ETL job recovery
•\tAct as escalation point for complex issues
•\tCollaborate with cross-functional and vendor teams
Resiliency & Availability
•\tEnsure high availability of critical systems
•\tSupport disaster recovery and failover testing
•\tPerform resiliency validation and identify single points of failure
•\tImprove MTTR and overall system reliability
Scalability & Performance
•\tPerform capacity planning and system tuning
•\tOptimize performance under peak workloads
•\tSupport scalable system design improvements
24x7 Operations Support
•\tParticipate in on-call rotations including nights and weekends
•\tSupport war rooms and incident bridges
•\tEnsure continuity across shifts and regions
•\tRespond to after-hours escalations
Automation & Efficiency
•\tIdentify and automate manual operational processes
•\tImprove incident response through tooling and scripts
•\tReduce operational toil and improve efficiency
Governance & Compliance
•\tSupport audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements
•\tMaintain documentation, runbooks, and procedures
•\tAdhere to security, data, and access policies

Job Description
- Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.
- Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
- May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
- Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
- Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $152,375.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
