- Responsible for leading assigned janitorial staff
- Cleans restrooms to include toilets, stalls, mirrors, partitions, re-stocks bathroom items and removes trash.
- Sweep, mop, buffs, hard surface floors.
- Cleans carpeted areas with vacuums, spot removal and carpet cleaning equipment with extraction capabilities.
- Ensures grounds and sidewalks are free of trash and debris.
- Removes and disposes of bulk trash from grounds and buildings.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and horizontal surfaces.
- Properly dispose of empty solvent containers.
- Performs minor assembly, repair and preventative maintenance tasks on janitorial equipment.
- Reports need for major repairs to equipment.
- Complies with all security procedures associated with entry to a secure facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned,
Schedule & Pay:
Job Type: Full Time | Monday thru Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.
Pay From: $19.07 per hour
Requirements:
Required
- One (1) year experience performing janitorial services for a large facility
- Experience operating commercial floor buffers and scrubbers, carpet cleaners
- Experience utilizing a variety of small hand and power tools
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience leading or supervising staff
Preferred:
- Three (3) years general work experience
- Experience working the disabled adults
