Blue Commercial Properties is a full-service commercial real estate firm headquartered in downtown Pensacola, Florida. The firm provides property management, construction, development, and maintenance services across a portfolio of approximately 50 commercial properties in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties.
Position Summary
Blue is seeking a Commercial Property Assistant to support its property management team in the day-to-day operation of a growing commercial portfolio. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to timely, professional communication with tenants, vendors, ownership, and internal staff. This position offers a defined path for advancement into the commercial real estate world.
Key Responsibilities
- Process maintenance requests and coordinate vendor scheduling, follow-up, and completion
- Serve as a point of contact for tenant inquiries, notices, and move-in/move-out coordination
- Track and maintain certificates of insurance and vendor compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate lease files, abstracts, and property records
- Support the accounting department with accounts receivable follow-up and invoice coding
- Assist in preparing monthly owner reports and property documentation
- Conduct site visits and routine property inspections
- Provide timely status updates to Property Managers on all open items
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel/sheets and google suite
- Familiarity with property management software preferred
- Commercial property management experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation and Benefits
- $20.50-$22.50
